The Bioflow Dynamics team aims to create a linear axisymmetric peristaltic pump that does not fully occlude the fluid tubing. This pump, which simulates the same persitaltic actions that our own throats and intestines use, would prevent the dangerous hemolyis that current peristaltic pumps cause.
