This analysis goes into depth regarding the pi groups calculated to be able to design the motion of the fluid in our tubes compressed by the aperature design. The result is that the flow is a function of amplitude of compression, reynolds number, density, length, wavelength, and wavespeed.

Our alpha prototype, which uses a manual hand crank to close the aperatures using a system of gears. The closing aperatures will compress the tube in a wave-like motion, promoting fluid flow.
